OSU's University Counseling Services hosts Inaugural Conference
OSU's University Counseling Services is hosting the inaugural Oklahoma University Counseling Conference on February 24, 2023, at Oklahoma State University. The in-person conference, on the Stillwater campus, will feature Dr. Al Carlozzi as our keynote speaker and provide three breakout sessions for continued education credit and is intended for Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC), Licensed Marriage & Family Therapists (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW), Licensed Behavioral Practitioners (LBP), and Psychologists working in a post-secondary education setting.
Conference Theme: Building Community and a Culture of Care
This theme for the conference will focus on addressing therapeutic needs in a post-secondary education setting for mental health providers. As part of this focus, the conference will incorporate an emphasis on cultivating a community of support and care for colleagues throughout the State of Oklahoma. Carlozzi to Make Keynote Address
Dr. Al Carlozzi, Ed.D, LMFT
Dr. Carlozzi will be the conference keynote speaker and the title of his address is "The University Counseling Center: Mission and Leadership in Context". Dr. Carlozzi is a licensed health service psychologist, licensed marital & family therapist, and professor emeritus at Oklahoma State University.
