 Reasons to Seek Counseling

  • Not sure how to study; As and Bs in high school, but struggling now; grades don't reflect study time or effort
  • Feeling you have no direction
  • Picking what seem to be the "wrong" friends
  • Relationship problems
  • Lesbian, Gay or Bisexual issues
  • Feeling stressed or anxious
  • Feeling sad or hopeless
  • Drinking heavily or using drugs
  • Eating too much or too little
  • Difficulty choosing a major
  • Low self-esteem
  • Death of a loved one
  • Transgender issues
  • Poor body image

  • If you are uncertain if you need counseling, a counselor can help you decide. Take an anonymous screening to see if your symptoms are consistent with depression, bipolar disorder, an alcohol problem, eating disorder, anxiety or post-traumatic stress disorder.
